I will admit, I am a 39-year-old man with zero kids but I will pay to sit as close to the front row of a circus every time I can go to one. The last one I went to was the crazy Halloween circus that came to Lake Charles. You remember that was the one that everyone said was all devil worshipping related. I assure you, we didn't do anything like that.

I believe I fist pumped the air when I ran across an ad for the Jordan World Circus coming to Sulphur. The Jordan World Circus is actually based out of Las Vegas and owned by the Jordan family. The Jordan World Circus features amazing performances such as quick change artists, clowns, performing dogs, high wire acts, and my favorite thing in the world, the globe of death! Which is where they pile a bunch of motorcycles/dirt bikes in a steel dome and they all go a billion miles an hour around each other!

The Jordan Circus is not one I have seen, yet. Reading their website and seeing videos, it seems like a real genuine family event with lots to do even before the circus begins. Before you even get to your seat, you can get your face painted, play in bouncy houses, take photos with the stars, and get snacks!

Tickets are currently on sale now and the first 100 people to buy adult tickets only pay $9.99 each. Children are $10 ages 2-12. If you miss the original sale, Adults are $20, or get a family of 5 pack for $34.99. These are really good prices that I wasn't expecting when I pulled it all up. They do say that you can purchase tickets at the door on the day of the show 1 hour before it begins. However, they could be sold out before you even get there.

The Sulphur show is Wednesday, September 7 at the West Cal Event Center in Sulphur. There are two shows to choose from 4:30 pm or 7:30 pm. If you miss the Sulphur show, you can catch them the next day, Thursday, in Crowley at the same times as the Sulphur show. Course, you'll need to buy tickets for that show too. Buy your tickets HERE and if you see a 39-year-old with cotton candy sitting in the front row, don't judge me.
