The 2013 NFL draft is now over and the LSU football program had a record number of players drafted over the three day event.
A lot of eyes were on the draft to see where the 'Honey Badger' Tyrann Mathieu would be drafted or if he would be drafted at all. Well he was along with 12 other LSU Tigers.
Tyrann Mathieu is back in the headlines but this time it is for a positive reason.
Tyrann who has been nicknamed the 'Honey Badger' passed his drug test at the NFL scouting combine in February and will enter the NFL Draft which begins Thursday night April 25th.
The Tyrann Mathieu saga continues. ESPN is reporting that the "Honey Badger" Tyrann Mathieu says he will enter into the NFL Draft in 2013 instead of trying to return back to LSU next year.
What has happened to the Honey Badger? First, he gets kicked of the LSU Football team then it was reported he was going to transfer to McNeese. Then instead, Tyrann Mathieu entered a drug rehab in Houston and once he left there he registered back at LSU in the hopes of getting himself straight and possibly play for the Tigers next season.

As if Tyrann "The Honey Badger" Mathieu hasn't had a bad enough year, the cover story in the most recent issue of Sports Illustrated is reporting that even if the cornerback managed to get back in the good graces of LSU, he may have ruined his own eligibility to play at all -- much less with the Tigers.
Reports are coming in that Tyrann Mathieu aka "The Honey Badger" will enroll at LSU tomorrow.
Tyrone Mathieu announced in late August that Tyrann would not play football this season and was working on his issues with former NBA player John Lucas. Seems now the issues maybe resolved and Tyrann is ready to go back to school.

Well the wait is over. WVUE-TV in New Orleans is reporting that Tyrann Mathieu entered a rehab center on Monday in Houston and will not play football this season.
UPDATE 2:21 p.m.: LSU's sports information director is now claiming that no meeting between Les Miles and Tyrann Mathieu never took place! Michael Bonnette, on his Twitter feed, is now stating that Les Miles himself denies any meeting ever took place. Badger Gate is starting to get as muddy as the Mississippi.
