The stage is set! The McNeese Cowboys will take on the Lamar Cardinals on Tuesday inside of the Legacy Center for the semifinals of the Southland Conference Tournament. Check it out here.

Both the Men and Women's teams have won their first two conference games this season and both teams will be in action again tonight.

The McNeese Cowboys are looking to get their 17th Playoff berth, but they will first have to take care of business this Saturday as they take on Lamar in Beaumont.

The McNeese women's softball team won their second straight Southland Conference title last Friday to get an automatic bid into a NCAA regional and Sunday, the Cowgirls found out where they were headed.

Celebration time for the McNeese Men's golf team as the captured their first Southland Conference golf championship in 36 years.

The McNeese Cowboys chalked up their fourth straight win as they beat Nicholls in Thibodaux 37-7. They handed Nicholls their 22nd consecutive straight loss. It was also the seventh straight game McNeese has beaten Nicholls. With that being said the Pokes moved up in the polls.

The STATS poll took over what used to be the Sports Network Top 25. The Cowboys are ranked No. 25 in this poll.

Yesterday, the preseason FCS coaches poll was released and the Cowboys found themselves ranked 23rd in the poll.

The McNeese State baseball team who are 4-1 on the season wraps up an eight-game season opening homestand this weekend as the Cowboys take on former Southland Conference rivals, UT Arlington.

There is a new era starting today for the McNeese Baseball program as new head coach Justin Hill will take the field for the first time as the head man for the squad. Hill replaces Terry Burrows who resigned at the end of last year.  We also kick of another great season of broadcasting McNeese baseball here on Cajun Radio.

The McNeese athletic department announced today the launch of their new free McNeese Sports Mobile App for iPhone and android phone users.
