Tommy McClelland who has been the Athletic Director for McNeese State since 2008 here in Lake Charles was announced this morning at the new Athletic Director at Louisiana Tech at a press conference.

McNeese versus LSU always has a good ring to it don't you think Tiger and Cowboy fans.  Well today, it will happen here in Lake Charles. The McNeese Lady Cowgirls will take on the nationally ranked LSU Lady Tigers in softball tonight here in Lake Charles at Cowgirl Diamond.

Ryan Ivey, who has been with McNeese State University since 2007, is leaving the University to become the Athletic Director at Texas A&M-Commerce. Texas A&M-Commerce President Dr. Dan Jones made the official announcement today that the University had hired Ryan Ivey as the university’s Director of Athletics.
