Last night the LSU Tigers hosted the University of New Orleans in Baton Rouge a Alex Box Stadium and the game became a marathon.

The Tigers got back on the winning ways this weekend as they swept the Arkansas Razorbacks in all three games played at Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge.

After the LSU Tigers baseball team lost two of their four games last week, the Tigers have fallen in the latest national college baseball games.

The LSU Tigers and McNeese baseball teams were scheduled to face each other earlier this season but mother nature wouldn't have any of that. The game was rescheduled for April 12th. Well tomorrow night the Tigers and Pokes will give it another try.

The annual match up between the LSU Tigers and McNeese baseball teams will take place this Wednesday night in Baton Rouge. LSU and McNeese play at least once a year during the baseball team and lately it has been the Tigers on the winning side of the rivalry

The first official college baseball polls have come out as the first week of the season began last Friday. The LSU Tigers are coming off of a three game sweep over the weekend and the polls rewarded them for their efforts.

The national rankings came out this week and the LSU baseball team are ranked the number one team in the country in all six of the major polls. The Tigers have a huge series starting tonight against not only an SEC foe but also the number two team in the country in Texas A&M in Baton Rouge.

LSU coach Paul Mainieri racked up his 1200th career win last night in his career as his LSU Tigers baseball team defeated the McNeese Cowboys at Alex Box Stadium.

The McNeese Cowboys baseball team who are 16-10 overall will wrap their five game road stretch on Wednesday as they travel to take on the LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge.
