The 29th annual Cajun music and Food Festival will be held this Friday and Saturday July 15th and 16th inside the Burton Coliseum.

Cajun music at it's best is coming to Lake Charles this Saturday night as CFMA male vocalist of the year Kevin Naquin and his band "The Ossun Playboys" invade the VFW post 2130.

Kevin Naquin released "No Guarantee" last year in April 2014 and it was a huge smash. Well Kevin is now seeing the benefits of the CD because he and the CD have been nominated for six La Cjaun awards at the upcoming CFMA award show in August.

It's the 6th Annual Battered and Abused Kids Benefit this Saturday and it's bigger and better than ever. This year it's held inside and outside of Yesterday's on Common.

The 3rd annual Allen Parish Canoe Festival final day is today in Oberlin.  Last night, Jamie Bergeron blew the roof off the place and tonight will be no different. Tonight, Gyth Rigdon will play all your favorite country hits followed by Kevin Naquin and the Ossun Playboys Live.  Here is the schedule of events for today's festival.

On Friday, April 11th we had the privilege of having Kevin Naquin perform live upstairs for our up close and personal concert series called the Cajun Radio Backstage Pass. During the performance, Kevin played one of his popular hits "Never Satisfied" and in this video, fiddle player David Varnado just shreds his fiddle and the crowd went crazy!

Last Friday, April 11th Kevin Naquin performed live upstairs for the Cajun Radio Backstage Pass. During the performance, one of our listeners asked Kevin about his hit song "Ayou Mon Tennis Shoes" and Kevin tells the crowd that the song is based on a true story.

Kevin Naquin is celebrating his 35th birthday today and he is doing it in style tonight.  Kevin and his band the Ossun Playboys will be at Yesterday's nightclub tonight celebrating his birthday and he will also be having a CD release party! They will be playing all their new songs from their latest CD that was just released called "No Guarantee".
