Our very own Cullen Washington, host of the Zydeco show every Saturday morning from 6am-9am here on Cajun Radio, is celebrating his birthday this Friday night in a big way. Cullen is having the "Zydeco Boss" Keith Frank playing live for his birthday and your all invited!!! Here are the details.

Cajun Radio and Town Square Media is having a "Polyester Party" on Thursday night October 13th at the Isle of Capri Event Center just over the bridge in Westlake.  Doors open at 7pm and the band starts at 8pm. We are taking you back to the 80's that night with the "Molly Ringwalds". Watch these videos and see how much fun these guys really are!!! We will be giving away tickets

Thousands of people were gathered at an outdoor stage at the Indiana State Fair on Saturday night when high winds from a storm caused the stage rigging to collapse, killing five and injuring at least 40 others, multiple outlets report.

Damon Troy and Final Five set the house on fire Friday night with their blistering set at the Marshland Festival, and we brought our cameras to make sure we didn’t miss a beat.  When he ripped into “Party Down,” it made our hair stand up.  If it don’t give you the chills, see a doctor, baby.

Damon Troy and the Final Five tore the roof off the Civic Center Friday night and then set the coliseum on fire as the headliner for night one of the Marshland Festival.  We grabbed this shot from the side of the stage before security could tackle us.

Saturday night Yesterdays Night Club was rocking as Damon Troy took the stage.  He electrified the crowd playing hit after hit!!!  I got a chance to hang out with Damon after the show and we talked about the BiG cruise coming up in February.

Abe Manuel of the  "The Swire From Grand Chenier" fame along with the Twangsters Union will be Live at Yesterdays night Club tonight in Lake Charles!!!

Jen Kober, who is from Lake Charles, has been in Hollywood making movies and sitcoms and now is back in Lake Charles for a one night only show tonight.

Chubby Carrier & The Bayou Swamp Band kicks off Downtown at Sundown tonight at 6pm on the Corner of Ryan Street & Broad Streets in Lake Charles.
