Sulphur Goes All Out For Christmas

Each year, the City of Sulphur ramps up their Christmas festivities, and they have a great line-up scheduled for the entire Christmas season. Not only does Sulphur have a great Christmas parade, but the entire Grove at Heritage Square is all decked out and ready to go!

Here are some of the events scheduled for Sulphur for the Christmas season

Kiwanis Christmas Lighted Parade
Dec. 1, Cypress St., Sulphur. The colorful, giant balloons and Christmas light parade begins at 6pm. The parade route will begin on Cypress Street and end near Heritage Square. For more information or to enter your float or vehicle in the parade, please contact Randy Broussard at (337) 527-0357.

It’s the “12 Days of Christmas,” only this time, it’s not just a song! Thanks to several community organizations in Sulphur, we are proud to announce that Christmas will last almost two full weeks in Sulphur this year! From November 24th to December 9th, there’s something for everyone.

NOVEMBER 29^TH – Houston River Baptist Church and Iglesia Hispana de Sulphur present: Spanish Language Church Service at The Grove. For more information, contact Jose Us at 337-718-1750.

NOVEMBER 30^TH – Holiday House preview gala with music by Chester Daigle. 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM. Tickets $35. For more information, contact Thom Trahan at 337-527-0357.

DECEMBER 1^ST – Holiday House open from 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM, entry is $5. For more information, contact Thom Trahan at 337-527-0357. Kiwanis Club of Sulphur Annual Christmas Parade at 6:00 PM. Live Nativity begins in the grove at 6:30, for more information contact Heather Kramer at 337-513-7797. Maplewood First Baptist Church will provide free hot chocolate and water at the nativity, for more information contact Amy Bruce at 337-802-0894. Lighting of the Christmas Tree in The Grove at 8:00 PM. Carnival open from 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM, wristbands $20.00.

DECEMBER 2^ND –Holiday House open from 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM, entry is $5. Live Nativity begins in The Grove at 6:00 PM, for more information contact Heather Kramer at 337-513-7797. First Baptist Church of Sulphur will provide free hot chocolate and water at the nativity, for more information contact Amy Bruce at 337-802-0894. 100% Chance of Snow at Heritage Square at 7:30 PM. Carnival open 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM, bracelets are $20 for 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM and $20 for 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM.

DECEMBER 9^TH – The Mines Theatre presents Once Upon a Christmas in collaboration with Kress Dance Revolution. Showtime is at 6:00 PM. For more information, contact The Mines at 337-215-1602.
