Sheriff’s Office Re-Arrests Man for 906 Counts Of Violation Of A Protective Order
The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office has arrested a man in Lake Charles for harassing a woman 906 times. WOW really?
Here is the information I received from the CPSO:
On November 23, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Jeffrey M. Huffman, 41, 1107 Arsene LeBleu Road, Lake Charles, after he violated a protective order filed in January 2010.
CPSO detectives received a report from a woman advising she had recently received numerous harassing and intimidating phone calls from Huffman, with whom she had an active protective order against. Further investigation revealed Huffman had contacted the victim on the telephone 906 times since August.
Huffman, who has had numerous arrests for violation of protective order since 2010, was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with 906 counts of violation of a protective order.
Judge Michael Canaday set his bond at $453,000.
CPSO Detective Trey Thomas is the lead investigator on this case.

No means No! Really? I was a Deputy on patrol for years and I have never seen this many counts for one person and a bond this high. Well i guess he won't be bothering her for awhile. Let's hope not ever again!
