Rainer, 20, 4404 Canal Street, Apt. # 234, and Kevin W. Bill, Jr., 20, 2148 11th Street, both of Lake Charles, entered the store brandishing a handgun and demanded money.  After stealing an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise, Rainer and Bill fled from the store.

CPSO arrested Rainer inside his apartment without incident and Bill surrendered at the intersection of Rhodes and Elaine Streets.

During a search of Rainer’s apartment, detectives recovered the stolen cash and store merchandise.  Both were booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with armed robbery; and armed robbery with a firearm.  Bill is also charged with obstruction of justice.

Judge Ron Ware set Rainer’s bond at $85,000; and set Bill’s at $95,000.
