It's homecoming week for the McNeese football team and this week is chopped full of great events. One of those events will occur this Friday night in Lake Charles as Grammy award winner Wayne Toups will be playing live and you can see him for FREE.

That's right Wayne Toups and his band Zydecajun will be live in Lake Charles for the McNeese Block Party which will be located on the corner of McNeese and Common Streets in Lake Charles. It will be in the grove at the Robert Nolan pavilion and entry is absolutely free and is open to all ages.

Wayne Toups will take the stage around 7:30 pm and rock the stage until around 10:30 pm. You will hear all his big hits like Take My Hand, Please Explain, True Love Don't Leave Me Blue, Tupelo Honey, Two Step Mamou, Oh La La, Oh Louisiana and so many more.

When you come to the concert Friday night, bring your lawn chair and your ice chest. Yep, it's BYOB but they will have food trucks on location for some good eats.
