The college football bowl season is set to start this Friday night, December 17th,  with two games. Then on Saturday, there are seven games scheduled including the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl where the ragin' Cajuns of Louisiana Lafayette will take on Marchall.

The game will be played inside the Super Dome in New Orleans so you know there will be a ton of Ragin' Cajun football fans in the stands for this game.

The Cajuns football team is currently ranked #23 in the country in the latest college football polls. They finished the regular season at 12-1 and undefeated at 8-0 in Sunbelt conference play and winning the Sunbelt conference championship.

They will face Marshall in New Orleans this Saturday night. Marshall finished with a record of  7-5 on the season and 5-3 in Conference USA play.

The Cajuns will be without their head coach for the game, however.  Billy Napier has left the program and accepted the head coaching job for the Florida Gators in the SEC. Napier coached the Cajuns in the Sunbelt Conference championship then left for Florida after the game.

The Cajuns and Marshall will lock up this Saturday night inside the Super Dome in the Big Easy in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl. Gametime is set for 8:15 pm Central time and the game will be televised on ESPN.
