The McNeese athletic department has announced they are extending the deadline for fans to renew their season tickets for the upcoming 2020 football season.

The original deadline was set for July 31 but has now been extended to Friday, August 14. If you are a season ticket holder and haven't renewed your tickets or forgot to do so, then this is your chance to secure the seats you love.

McNeese said season ticket holders will need to either renew their tickets by phone by calling 337-562-4MSU (4678) or by stopping by the Jack Doland field house before August 14.

The field house is located right in front of Cowboys football stadium and if you choose to renew your tickets in person, wearing your mask is required to enter the field house ticket office.

As the schedule states as of now, The Pokes will have a total of six home games this season, including games against Southland Conference opponents Lamar, Stephen F Austin, Nicholls, Central Arkansas, and Abilene Christian along with one non-conference game against Northern Colorado.

As it stands for now, the McNeese Cowboys football team will open up the 2020 season on the road in Lafayette against the Ragin' Cajuns on Saturday September 5. That game will be played at Cajun Field in Lafayette, but the game time has not been announced yet.

Cowboys fans, make sure to renew your season tickets now and get ready for the lights to come back on in The Hole as it's called at Cowboys Stadium and root the Pokes on to victory this season.
