The NBA Draft started last night and LSU fans knew there would possibly be two players from the LSU men's basketball team that could be drafted early.

Well we didn't have to wait long as Jarell Martin was selected with the 25th overall pick in the first round to the Memphis Grizzlies.  Scouts said that Martin who is a Power Forward from LSU  is big and physical and Jerell Martin makes things happen in the paint.

Then Jordan Mickey was chosen by the Boston Celtics with the 33rd pick of the draft, the third of the second round.   Mickey led nation in blocked shots this year.

This is the first time that LSU has had two players taken in the draft since 2000.

Congrats two the players and to LSU!
