L’Auberge Casino Resort Lake Charles today announced the promotion of Harold Rowland to Vice President and Assistant General Manager, pending regulatory approval. Rowland most recently worked as Vice President of Resort Operations overseeing all restaurant, hotel, golf course, spa and retail operations at the award-winning property.

In his new role as Vice President and Assistant General Manager, Harold will lend his hospitality expertise to ensure all L’Auberge guests receive impeccable guest service throughout the property. Additionally, he will oversee a multi-million dollar hotel renovation project in 2012. He will report to L’Auberge Vice President and General Manager Keith W. Henson.

Henson, Vice President and General Manager of L’Auberge Lake Charles. “He strives for perfection in all aspects of our premier facility and his leadership and innovative ideas are key to L’Auberge creating memorable experiences for our guests.”

Under Rowland’s guidance L’Auberge Lake Charles has received numerous awards, most recently Lagniappe Magazine’s Best of 2011 Reader’s Choice for Best Buffet, Best Barber Shop and Best Place to Bring an Out of Town Visitor; Convention South’s 2011 Reader’s Choice award; and Meetings & Conventions Magazine’s Gold Tee award.

Rowland remains active in the hospitality industry. He is the treasurer for the Louisiana Hotel and Lodging Association Board of Directors and was named to lead Pinnacle Entertainment’s Center of Excellence for Hotel Operations in 2009.

Rowland lives in Lake Charles with his wife and three children.
