Lake Charles Police Conducting DWI Checkpoints July 30 Through August 1

In an ongoing effort to keep our streets safe and to prevent drunk drivers on the roads, the Lake Charles Police Department will be conducting DWI checkpoint in the City of Lake Charles for the next three consecutive nights.

Mark Kraus of the LCPD advised us that the DWI checkpoints will be conducted July 30, July 31 and August 1, 2014 at undisclosed locations in Lake Charles.

So when you go to that restaurant, bar of friends house and you decided to have a few, make sure that you have someone that can be your designated driver.  That way you stay safe and so does the rest of us!
