Lake Charles Police Conducting DWI Checkpoints August 18 & 20

In an ongoing effort to keep our streets safe and to prevent drunk drivers on the roads, the Lake Charles Police Department will be conducting DWI checkpoints in the City of Lake Charles.

Mark Kraus of the LCPD said that The Lake Charles Police Department will be conducting checkpoints on August 18, 2014 and August 20, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at undisclosed locations in Lake Charles.

So when you go to that restaurant, bar of friends house and you decided to have a few, make sure that you have someone that can be your designated driver.  That way you stay safe and so does the rest of us!
