Lake Charles Police Conducting DWI Checkpoint Today In The City

In conjunction with the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission, the Lake Charles Police Department will be conducting checkpoints tonight March 12th from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.

Deputy Chief Mark Kraus of the LCPD said that The Lake Charles Police Department will be conducting a checkpoint tonight at undisclosed location in Lake Charles.

With Easter coming ever so close, you can expect that all local and state agencies to increase their presence on the roadways so please be careful out there!
