The 2012 Louisiana Railroads Days Festival is in DeQuincy Louisiana with an all start lineup of music beginning at 3 p.m. today.

Carnival rides, food and music from  a legendary Cajun and Country music star, a new comer to the Cajun Music scene, and a national Country music recording artist.  That is what you can expect today at the Railroad festival.

  • 10:00 a.m. Old Timers Reunion Methodist Church Hall

  • 10:30 a.m. Recognition of Queens and Visiting Dignitaries

  • 11:00 a.m. Railroad Idol Contest

  • 1:30 p.m.  Redbone Cooking (small stage)

  • 3:00 p.m.  Joel Sonnier

  • 4:30 p.m.  The Joel Martin Project

  • 5:00p.m.   TBA

  • 8:00 p.m.  MARK CHESNUTT - sponsored by Union Pacific Railroad & DFSL

  • Festival closes at midnight
