We all love our Cajun, Swamp Pop, and Zydeco music here in Louisiana and we especially like watching someone perform and sing it live. We also love it when we get to see a performance from two icons of Louisiana music.

This happened over the weekend when Grammy award winner and Louisiana music legend Wayne Toups performed live at Paradise Ranch in Tylertown, Mississippi. Wayne was performing live with his full band when he saw Ryan and Brandon Foret from the Swamp Pop band Foret Tradition watching the show.

Foret Tradition was also slated to perform at Paradise Ranch, so they were taking in the Wayne Toups show when Wayne called up the boys for an impromptu performance. So what song did they perform together? Was it a Cajun song or a Swamp Pop song?

Well, it was a Swamp Pop song of the classic song Standing On Shakey Ground. Ryan Foret posted the video on the Froet Tradition Facebook page and wow, what a great song and performance.

Want to see them performing it live? Good news we have the video of the legends performing live together right here.

How great was that? Two great Louisiana music voices coming together to have some fun on stage. Ryan Foret and Wayne Toups both have the most recognizable voices in Louisiana music and have produced some of the most iconic and popular songs in Louisiana music history.
