Back in December, Cajun Radio listeners voted Horace Trahan as their 2011 Artist of the Year in a landslide vote.  Horace finally made good on his promise to come accept the award and hold a small VIP concert, and we had an awesome time.

We had lunch catered by our friends at Chick-Fil-A and a special plaque made up by Creative Concepts.  Our VIPs came by for a special lunch concert, courtesy of Horace and his father-in-law, Rodney Bernard.

And finally, here I am giving him his award.  I think he choked up a bit!

After all of that, he graciously hung around to take pictures with the fans and sign autographs -- he's a class act, and that's probably why you voted him your Artist of the Year!

A word about our new "Backstage Pass" logo:

A big thank-you goes out to Patricia Anderson, otherwise known as rosefirerising on Flickr.  She's allowed us to use her really cool picture for our new logo!  Look for more "Backstage Pass" footage by clicking on the button on the menu bar at the top of the page!  We're dedicated to bringing you one-of-a-kind performances and videos, so keep watching for more!
