High School Football Jamborees Start Tonight — Schedule

It's that time again. Time for local high school football teams to gear up for the annual Jamborees in the area.

The Jamborees are like preseason football. The games are shorter and give the coaches and players a chance to play with real game time situations.

The 2018 Jamborees start tonight, August 23rd, and go through tomorrow night, Friday, August 24th.

Here are the games scheduled in the area.

Thursday, August 23rd

Matt Walker Stadium in Sulphur, La 

5:30 pm -- East Beauregard vs Vinton

7pm -- Westlake vs South Beauregard

8:30pm -- Barbe vs Deridder

Westminster Academy vs Gueydan

Friday, August 24th

Matt Walker Stadium in Sulphur, La 

5:30pm -- Welsh vs Washington Marion

6:45pm -- Sam Houston vs Jennings

8pm -- St. Louis vs Sulphur

9:15pm -- LaGrange vs Iowa

The high school football regular season kicks off next week on August 20th and 31st, 2018.
