Welsh Hosts Kinder Tonight For High School District 4-2A Title
This is the game Welsh Greyhounds and Kinder Yellow jackets fans have been waiting on! The showdown is on. Undefeated Welsh will face the defending 2A state champions Kinder for all the marbles, the 4-2A district title.
Kinder's season started off shaky when they were shut out against now undefeated Jennings 34-0. Jennings must have woke up a sleeping giant because since that loss Kinder hasn't lost a game and they have been blowing out all the teams they have played. Kinder has averaged 50.3 points per game while only allowing their opponents 10.6 points per game.
The Welsh Greyhounds haven't lost a game yet this season. The are a perfect 9-0 so far and have beat down everyone in their district except one, Kinder. Welsh is also an explosive offense posting 50.2 points per game and only allowing their opponents 12.8 points per game.
So as you can see, these two teams are evenly matched and tonight they face off for the District 4-2A title. The game kicks off at 7:00 p.m. in Welsh.
