Hackberry Dad to Be Makes Furry Friends at Maternity Photoshoot

I've done photography for over 10 years now. I have experienced some interesting things in this last decade. I've done a surprise engagement shoot in New Orleans at the aquarium, I've shot amazing big-budget Mardi Gras Balls and even shot for a few magazines. Never have I ever come across a client that got "one with nature" as this man did.

Meet Paige and John White. They are expecting a little one, and of course, had to capture the special occasion with a maternity photo shoot. They headed out to Sam Houston Jones State Park with their photographer to capture these memories of parenthood. The only thing is, John is a bit of a country boy.

Fast forward to the photoshoot and John runs his eye across two raccoons in the park. Paige's post said John was rescuing them. Not sure what he was rescuing them from, but they do seem like they haven't missed a meal in quite some time. How this man grabbed two raccoons at once while always be in the back of my mind. We have one here by the radio station and that sucker can MOVE.

Paige assures us that the raccoons were released right after this proud dad was showing off his newly growing "dad powers". They say you get special dad powers the moment you become one. I'd have to say John is using his quite well at this point. Congrats to John and Paige, and I really hope the photographer got pictures of this amazing feat of "dad powers".
