We all are still in heaven after the LSU Tigers won the 2019 national championship in college football this past year.

The team is no doubt the best team LSU football has ever had. They went undefeated in the regular season and won the SEC championship before entering the college football playoffs.

The team easily beat Oklahoma and then Clemson to win the national championship, and went a perfect 15-0 under the leadership of coach Ed Orgeron and behind the arm of Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow.

The late state representative, Reggie Bagala, introduced a bill to have a license plate for Louisiana vehicles to honor the LSU footballs 2019 national championship. Unfortunately, he passed away due to complications from COVID-19 on April 9, 2020.

In a private ceremony, Governor Jon Bell Edwards signed the bill into law with Bagala's wife along with LSU football head coach Ed Orgeron and LSU Athletic Director Scott Woodward.

Be looking for the new license plates to be coming soon so you can show off your LSU football pride.
