Get Rid Of Those Pesky Mosquitoes in Your Backyard
Summer is right around the corner, and nothing can ruin a family get-together in the backyard like a swarm of bloodthirsty mosquitoes.
There are many ways of getting rid of these pesky flying beasts, and we want to help you have a great summer by recommending some tried and true products.
The first way to effectively get rid of mosquitoes is to make sure you level out your yard and fill in holes were rainwater can puddle up and stand for days or weeks if we get a storm front rolling in. Standing water is a breeding ground for mosquitoes; eliminate that and the battle is half won.
Next, you need products to treat your grass and kill the mosquitoes where they lie during the day. You can do this with the spray and granulated products below:
Once you have your grass treated, you will still have mosquitoes that will fly in from a neighbor's yard or from around your house. I've found that foggers are a great way to kill anything in the air. This stuff is amazing.
Now, you've killed every flying insect in sight with your fogger. Let's create a barrier around your yard to keep all the other mosquitoes from finding their way to your party. Citronella has proven to be a very effective repellent toward these bloodsucking villains.
I watch a few camping channels on YouTube, and many of them swear by the Thermacells to repel mosquitoes.
If you prep your yard before your parties this summer and use the products above, you shouldn't have to worry about mosquitoes ruining everyone's night. Have fun, and crank up our radio station loud so your neighbors can hear what a fun time a mosquito-free yard is.
