Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office Graduates 40 Cadets Today

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office (CPSO) law enforcement training academy is getting ready to graduate 40 cadets that will go on and protect the streets of Southwest Louisiana's five parish area. This will be the CPSO's 110th class. The ceremony will be today at 10:30 a.m. in the Contraband Room on the 2^nd floor at the Lake Charles Civic Center.

The CPSO's training facility trains officers from local police agencies including city and state agencies in Calcasieu, Cameron, Jeff Davis, Beauregard and Allen parishes.

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office Training Academy will hold its 110^th Basic Law Enforcement Graduation Ceremony Thursday, March 19 at 10:30 a.m. in the Contraband Room on the 2^nd floor at the Lake Charles Civic Center.
Forty (40) cadets representing Basile Police Department, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office, Cameron Parish Sheriff’s Office, Coushatta Police Department, DeRidder Police Department, Harbor Police Department, Iowa Police Department, Jeff Davis Sheriff’s Office, Jennings Police Department, Lake Charles Marshal’s Office, Lake Charles Police Department, McNeese Police Department, Oberlin Police Department, Sulphur Police Department, and Welsh Police Department are participated in this graduating class.
The CPSO Training Academy trains all law enforcement agencies in Calcasieu, Cameron, Beauregard, Allen and Jeff Davis Parishes.
