Breaking News: Virginia Tech on Lockdown After Reports of Gunman Near Campus

A person with a gun has been reported near the Virginia Tech campus in Blacksburg, Va., according to an alert on the school's website.

The school is asking all students and faculty to "stay inside" and secure all doors.

Emergency personnel is responding to the scene, the alert says.

In 2007, a student gunman killed 32 students and faculty.
