The Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating Felisha Scroggins, 24, and her 3-year-old-daughter, Natalie. Family members of Scroggins say that she also goes under the name of Felisha MacCabee, and that they have not heard from Felisha since August 16th.

Authorities believe that the missing Leesville woman may be in the company of Ramon Jose Alvarez, but he is also known as Ray MacCabee and Ray Alvarez MacCabee. All the aliases make the job that much harder.

Alvarez was last seen driving a white van that bears Texas plate # CN7J301. The white van is covered with various religious banners and crosses. Authorities say that Alvarez conducted religious services from the van, often times parking in parking lots in Leesville and surrounding communities.

No one in this case is wanted for a crime at this point. Authorities in Leesville say they merely want to make sure that Felisha and her daughter are safe. Sheriff's Office officials are asking anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Felisha and Natalie to contact VPSO at 337-238-1311.

The Sheriff's Office is also advising Felisha to go to the nearest local law enforcement agency with Natalie to confirm her well-being.
