February 1, 2012 Fats Domino is a Louisiana music legend. He recorded and released "Mardi Gras in New Orleans" in 1953. What is really interesting is that this song was on the "B" side of the record. The "A" side of this record was "Going to the River" which topped the charts at #24 on the US Top 100 and #2 US R&B Chart.
