Can you cook a mean chili or do you think your Gumbo is the best in Louisiana?  Well here is your chance to prove it!

The Young Lawyers Section of the Southwest Louisiana Bar Association is hosting their 2nd annual OktoBARfest Gumbo & Chili Cook-off in Lake Charles to raise money for charity.

The event will feature gumbo and chili provided by law firm competitors plus cold beer and wine will be served.  They will also have live music and this fun event  is open to the public.

The 2nd annual OktoBARfest Gumbo & Chili Cook-off will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017, from 3-6 p.m. right in front of Historic City Hall in downtown Lake Charles.

 

Cost to enter is $10 per person and the proceeds benefit the Young Lawyer's Holiday Helping Hands Program.  This program provides Christmas gifts to children in need which is a great cause so go out and eat, drink and donate!
