Movies Under The Stars Friday Oct. 12th Featuring “Some Like It Hot”

The highly popular “Movies Under The Stars” has returned and starts tonight and runs through the entire month of October of 2012. Movies are scheduled for all four Friday’s in October at the Prien Lake Park in Lake Charles.

Movies Under the Stars is a free event to the public. Each movie will begin at 6:00pm. Residents are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs, blankets and food. Snacks can also be purchased on-site. Prien Lake Park is located at 3700 West Prien Lake Road in Lake Charles. In the event of inclement weather, dates may be cancelled.

October 12^th – “Some Like it Hot” –  Two down on their luck musicians witness a mob hit and go undercover in a female band in this classic starring acting legends Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon. The American Film Institute designated this film classic as the #1 movie in its 100 Funniest American Movies of All Time!
