The McNeese Cowboys are gearing up for the 2013 football season and tonight they will hold their annual 'Cowboy Night' at Cowboys stadium.

This is a chance for fans to go out and see the McNeese football team first hand for free as they gear up for their first game on August 31st.

McNeese wrapped up its 17th practice of fall camp on Tuesday afternoon in Cowboy Stadium as it continues to work towards the Aug. 31 season opener at South Florida.

The Cowboys will hold their annual Cowboy Night event on Wednesday night beginning with team introductions at 6:20 followed by an intrasquad scrimmage at 6:30.

Wednesday's scrimmage will wrap the end of fall camp as the Cowboys begin preparations for South Florida on Friday.

McNeese opens the season in less than two weeks when it visits South Florida on Aug. 31.  Kickoff for that game is slated for 6 p.m. central time.  The contest will be broadcast live on ESPN3.
