McNeese Cowboys Football Scores Huge Payday After Beating South Florida

The McNeese Cowboys Football team got a historic win last Saturday night against FBS opponent, the University of South Florida.  With the win, they also received a huge payday!

McNeese State routed South Florida 53-21 and scored the most points by an FCS team against an FBS opponent. And as we reported earlier, it was also the Cowboys first win over an automatic qualifying FBS school in the teams history and broke a college football record with the win!

The Cowboys also got paid for the victory!  The McNeese football program received $400,000 from South Florida for the win according to ESPN!

The McNeese Cowboys will return home this Saturday and host Arkansas-Pine Bluff at 7:30 in Cowboy Stadium.  The Game will be televised Comcast SportsNet Houston.
