The LSU Tigers won the SEC Western division over the weekend and for their efforts they have moved up in the Baseball America Top 25 poll. 

The LSU Tigers baseball went 2-1 last week beating Texas A&M two out of three games.  They secured the SEC West which was good enough to move the Tigers up in the National Polls.

LSU remains at #3 in the USA Today Coaches but the Tigers moved up to the #2 spot in the Baseball America Top 25 polls trialing #1 Vanderbilt.

The Tigers will take on New Orleans tonight at Alex Box Stadium at 6:30 p.m. then will close out the regular season starting Thursday when they host #23 Ole Miss for a three game homestand.

Then the SEC Tournament will begin next Wednesday, May 22nd in Hoover, Alabama at Regions Park.
