Update: Kinder Yellow Jackets Wins Class 2-A High School Football State Championship

The Kinder Yellow Jackets will play for a high school football State Championship today in the Superdome in New Orleans.

Update: Kinder beats Many 34-20 to win the Class 2A state football championship!  Congrats to the Yellow Jackets. 

Wondering how Kinder got to this point? Kinder beat Istrouma 41-0 in the first round.  Then they traveled to Homer and beat them 35-6 to advance to the Third round of the playoffs. There they faced St. James at home beating them 21-13.

The win advanced the Yellow Jackets into the Semi-finals where they faced Winnfield at home and ultimately beating them 28-21 to punch there ticket to the State Championship and get to the Dome.

Kinder will face Many at 4:30 pm today for the Class 2-A state Championship.
