Drew Brees Nominated For An ESPY For “Best Record-Breaking Performance”

New Orleans favorite son and the quarterback of the Saints, Drew Brees, has been nominated for an ESPY award for  "Best Record Breaking Performance" at the 2013 edition of the ESPY awards.

Drew Brees received the ESPY nomination because he broke Johnny Unitas' record of consecutive games with a TD pass last season.  Drew won the same award in 2012 for breaking Dan Marino’s record for most passing yards in a season.

Drew has won a total of four ESPY's and looks to take home a fifth.

The ESPYs will be televised live Wednesday, July 17, at 8 p.m. CT on ESPN/ESPNHD from the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles.
