On Friday, April 11th we had the privilege of having Kevin Naquin perform live upstairs for our up close and personal concert series called the Cajun Radio Backstage Pass. During the performance, Kevin played one of his popular hits "Never Satisfied" and in this video, fiddle player David Varnado just shreds his fiddle and the crowd went crazy!

The Iowa Rabbit Festival is celebrating their 28th year and it begins tonight in the Iowa city park.  The Festival is a two day event which is today and tomorrow, March 14th and 15th. Tonight the entertainment lineup includes Country music recording artist Todd O'Neill, Geno Delafose and French Rockin' Boogie and Wayne Toups and Zydecajun!

Cajun Radio is celebrating nine years of being on the air full time 24 hours a day playing Cajun, Swamp Pop and Zydeco music only. It was a dream of my dad Dave Soileau's and I to have a full time 24 hour a day Cajun Radio station and nine years ago it happened.  Here is a little history about Dad and I and the history of doing Cajun music on the radio which led up to Cajun Radio going on the air.
