It happened same day that Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Deputies were arresting a Lake Charles woman for leaving her kids in an SUV while she sexually serviced her boyfriend in another vehicle.  A second Lake Charles women was also arrested Friday in an unrelated incident after leaving her children in a hot car.

According to a CPSO press release, Faith Denae LaFleur, 26, left three children -- a five year old, a two year old and an 11 month old -- alone in a car while she went shopping.  The engine was turned off, and the windows were rolled up.

During the investigation, it was learned the estimated temperature in the car was approximately 130 degrees.  Acadian Ambulance was called to exam the children and found the children to be sweaty, dirty and hungry. -- CPSO Spokeswoman Kim Myers

The children were left to play in the car -- one child was even playing with the car keys in the ignition.  LaFleur told investigators she left the children in the car for over an hour.  Her bond was set at $10,000 by Judge Clayton Davis, and the incident is also under investigation by the Department of Child and Family Services.
