America's Most Wanted made is second trip in the shows history to Lake Charles earlier this month.  The first time the show came to do a story was on the murders at KK's Corner in Lake Charles.

This time the show is featuring the South Lake Charles homicide and search for fugitive Joe Constance.  The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's office released this today about the filming, details about what the show will feature and when it will air.

On October 2, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office, along with the US Marshal’s Office  and the Cameron Parish Sheriff’s Office, welcomed the television show, “America’s Most Wanted” who came to Lake Charles to film a re-enactment of the June 5 murder of Jeannette Duhon at 9258 Rustic View Drive, Lake Charles, by her estranged husband, Joe Matthew Constance, who has been on the run since the murder.  With the airing of this story nationwide, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office is hoping to get tips on Constance’s whereabouts.

Over the span of filming for four days, the homicide and the extensive ground search executed by law enforcement was re-enacted for the show, as well as interviews conducted with Calcasieu Parish Sheriff Tony Mancuso, Cameron Parish Sheriff Theos Duhon, and US Marshal’s Office Deputy Michael Dicharry.  The search re-enactment was filmed at the Cameron Prairie National Wildlife Refuge.  The re-enactment of the murder was filmed at a local mobile home park.  The Southwest Louisiana Film Alliance, an umbrella organization of the Lake Charles/Southwest Louisiana Convention & Visitors Bureau, assisted with production needs.

The “America’s Most Wanted” segment on Joe Constance will air on Saturday, October 29 at 7:00 p.m. on Fox.

CPSO Sgt. Detective Michael Trosclair, who is assigned to the US Marshal’s Office Violent Offender Fugitive Task Force, will travel to “America’s Most Wanted”  headquarters in Washington, D.C., to follow up on tips called in by the viewing public the night the segment airs.
