“Young Love” Singer Sonny James Dies at 87 [VIDEO]
Country music lost another legendary artist as Sonny James has died at the age of 87. The 'Young Love" singer passed away yesterday in Nashville Tennessee.
Sonny James was born in Hackleburg Alabama in 1928 and began his country music career in 1953. During his tenior he racked up 26 number one hits which included 16 straight songs he released going to number one.
He is best known for his number one song "Young Love" which was a #1 hit on the Rock and Roll and Country charts in 1956. James released 72 singles during his career and retired in 1984.
