Toys For Tots Registration Schedule In Calcasieu Parish

It is almost the holiday season and with that, there will be a lot of needy families across Calcasieu Parish that will need help this holiday season.

The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury has announced the locations for needy families who require assistance this holiday season for their kids to sign up for the "Toys for Tots" program.

Families in need for the upcoming holiday season can register for the Toys for Tots program. Six locations throughout Calcasieu Parish will offer registration into the program. These locations are listed below.

Residents will need to bring copies of the following items to register:

• Proof of Residency within Calcasieu Parish
• Picture Identification
• Birth Certificate or Social Security Card for each child (ages 1 – 12 years)
• Paycheck Stubs (3) or Award letter from SSI, VA, SS, AFDC etc.
• Current Food Stamp Eligibility Letter (within last 30 days)

Registered Residents can pick up donated toys at the Lake Charles Civic Center on Monday, December 22, 2014 from 8:30am – 1:30pm. The family’s child or children must be present to receive toys.
