UPDATE — Missing Singer High Girl Found Walking Down Beauregard Parish Road After Being Placed in Trunk of a Car
UPDATE: Family members tel KPLC that Dakota Schexnider was found near Bancroft near the Texas-Louisiana border this morning after disappearing from Singer High School Tuesday afternoon.
"Dakota was found ... was walking and scared," Kristan Schexnider told KPLC. "She doesn't remember anything. All she remembers is being at school and then waking up in a trunk of a car." -- KPLCTV.com
No word yet on any suspects.
ORIGINAL POST: State Police and the Beauregard Parish Sheriff's Office are asking for the public's help in locating 15-year-old Dakota Schexnider.

State Police say she could be in Southwest Louisiana or Southeast Texas. That's scary enough, but we ran across the above Facebook post this morning, in which her aunt says Dakota texted family members to tell them she was "in a trunk and scared." They haven't heard from her since.
