I am so excited to say that football season is less than two months away. That's right folks September 3rd the new college football season kicks off and for the McNeese Cowboys football team they will be getting some TV love this season.
The athletic department for McNeese announced that at least three of the pokes football games will be televised. The huge rivalry game against the Louisiana Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns game will be the first game that will be on TV. The game will be on September 10th and will be televised on one of ESPN's family of networks.
Then on September 17th McNeese will host Stephen F Austin at Cowboy stadium and that game will be televised on the American Sports Network and will kickoff at 6 p.m.
Then on October 1st the pokes will host Nicholls in Lake Charles. That game will be televised on Cox Sports TV at 6 p.m.
McNeese starts the season on September 3rd at home against Tarleton State. That game will start at 6:00 p.m. So get ready football fans, the season is almost here!
