Things To Do In Southwest Louisiana This Weekend August 27-29

I know we are all on high alert watching tropical storm Ida but hopefully, it will stay East of us and we will see no effects from the storm and we can enjoy another fun weekend in Southwest Louisiana.

There are a lot of concerts, live music, and a festival going on this weekend in our area and we are here to give you the heads up on who is playing where.

The Gueydan Duck Festival is taking place all this weekend in Gueydan, Louisiana. Tonight they will have Dustin Sonnier, Jamie Bergeron, and The Chee Weez. On Saturday, they will have Colby Latiolas, Louisiana Red, Wayne Toups, and The Bag Of Donuts.

Frank Foster will be live at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center Saturday night August 28th starting at 8:00 pm.

Brad Brinkley will be playing at Mary's Lounge on East Broad Street in Lake Charles for their Funday Sunday starting at 5:00 pm.

Johnny Jimenez will be live at Koozies sports bar on Hwy 14 East in Lake Charles next to KK's Corner starting at 8:00 pm.

K-Bon's restaurant on the corner of East McNeese Street and Hwy. 397 they will have Alfred Doucet tonight and John Ruiz on Saturday night. Both artists will play from 6:30 to 9:30 pm.
