You might remember back in August when we pitted all of the Lake Charles high schools against one another to see which had the most school spirit.  It got heated.  But Sam Houston High pulled out an incredible victory with over 74,000 votes cast.  So we're keeping good with our word to bring a heck of a party to the Broncos.

But, instead of doing a tailgate party before a football game, the school had a better idea.

What if we had our party at Sam Houston's Homecoming Community Pep Rally?  It was like combining chocolate and peanut butter -- two great ideas got even better.  So now, we're bringing our party, our free food from Wingstop, and all of our prizes to the Sam Houston campus on Thursday, Oct. 25.  And we're gonna cheer until we drop as the Broncos prepare to slaughter the Lafayette Lions for Homecoming on Friday night!

And everyone's invited -- for FREE!

Coca-Cola of Lake Charles

So what's the dealio?  Well, Thursday night, Sam Houston's students are taking over the streets of Moss Bluff for the annual Homecoming Parade at 5 p.m.  Right after that, you can head back to the school to prepare for the school's Community Pep Rally.  Starting at 6 p.m., our friends at Wingstop will be feeding people FOR FREE -- first-come, first-served until the food runs out.  Our friends at Coca-Cola and Dr. Pepper will be providing free drinks.

Also, Deep South Productions will be bringing out their stage, and DJ Big Boy Chill will be in the mix so you can dance while you

And we're bringing the prizes!

"But wait, prizes?  Like what?" you may be asking.  How about a Google Nexus 7 tablet computer?  How about a Nintendo 3DS handheld game console?  How about gift certificates for gas, food, apparel and car detailing?  How about Free Blu Rays and DVDs?  How about awesome gifts from Body and Sol in Westlake?  Want tickets to the Bayou Classic?  ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS SHOW UP TO BE ELIGIBLE TO WIN!  Whether you're a student, a parent, a graduate or just a super fan, you can win!

Go Broncos!
