The Downtown Lake Charles Candy Crawl Returns This Weekend
The Candy Crawl in Downtown Lake Charles will not only feature trick-or-treating, but live music, food vendors, and much more.
This is a fun, safe alternative for all residents of SWLA and Lake Charles. Tons of businesses downtown will be handing out candy and the Seven Slot Society of SWLA will be holding a trunk-or-treat.
It's great to see this event make a comeback after a global pandemic and two hurricanes. The Lake and Gator 99.5 were there in 2018 and it was an awesome experience. My son Elijah was dressed up as a penguin and my daughter Khloe was dressed up as Super Girl. They both came out to help hand out candy and they loved seeing the other costumes and especially handing out candy to kids that were younger than them. It was a blast.
The Lake Charles Downtown Business Association released a map of the event:
Downtown Lake Charles Candy Crawl Details:
- When: Saturday, October 29

There will also be a block party, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm, on the 300 block of Broad Street featuring live music and food vendors. Plus, there will be a special finale at dusk for the event.
Physical copies of the above map will be available at Panorama Music house on the day of the Downtown Candy Crawl.
