Ten LSU Football Players Invited To NFL Combine
Sadly the college football season is over but for players looking to take the next step in their career there is the NFL combine. The NFL combine is where players workout and show their skills and athleticism in front of all the NFL teams scouts.
It is a prelude to the NFL draft. Have a good combine and your stock could go way up and move you up the board in the NFL draft.
For the LSU Tigers football team, there are ten players who have been invited to the NFL combine.
According to LSUsports.net the players include,
Wide receiver DJ Chark, offensive lineman Will Clapp, quarterback Danny Etling, running back Derrius Guice, cornerback Donte Jackson, linebacker Arden Key, offensive lineman K.J. Malone, cornerback Kevin Toliver II, offensive lineman Toby Weathersby, and running back Darrel Williams.
We see some big names on this list like last years starting QB Danny Etling and Running Back Derrius Guice. That means they are moving on so the LSU coaching staff will be tasked with finding replacements for these to standout players.
The NFL combine's run from February 27 and runs through March 5. The NFL Draft is April 26th thru the 28th. This year it will take place at AT&T Stadium "Home of the Dallas Cowboys" in Arlington, Texas.
