Well we are only one week away from the kick off to the 2016 college football season and our three local Louisiana college football teams will all be in action next Saturday.

The University of Louisiana Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns football team are headed to a post season bowl game for the first time in 41 years. The University announced last night that they have accepted the invitation to be in the New Orleans Bowl on Saturday December 17th in the Mercedes Benz Superdome and be televised on ESPN.
