Lake Charles Road Closures

The City of Lake Charles has announced that construction will begin today on the widening project on Lake Street, South of McNeese Street to Country Club Rd. It is expected to last thru September 2018.

The city of Lake Charles has informed us that the intersection of Bank and 7th Streets in Lake Charles will be closed for at least 45 days starting this Monday June 13th, 2016.

The DOTD will start working on Highway 171 starting Monday and have advised us that there will be lane closures, delays and alternate routes.

The left two lanes of I-10 eastbound from Milepost 30.5 to 32.5 (Lakeshore Drive to Opelousas Street) in Lake Charles will be closed on Tuesday June 30, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
